With every NetDocuments folder having a unique email address associated with it, you can email directly
to the folder from your MFP or Digital Sender. With folder alerts set, others can receive automatic
email notifications when the scanned documents have arrived.

NetDocuments supports the HP Smart Document Scan Software (SDSS) which is included in
many HP scanners providing a feature-rich solution for customizing and defining the scanning file
format by selecting one of two scanning profiles which can be accessed directly from the scanner or
from within NetDocuments. The NetDocumens SDSS profiles will store scanned documents in the ND auto
import folder and then kick off the synchronization process for importing to your online folders.

HP Smart Document Scan Software (SDSS) is a fast, ISIS-based document scanning application that helps
you easily scan and manage your document jobs. Set up custom profiles, including settings for file
format, document size and resolution.
Other customizations available include auto crop, auto page straighten, auto orientation, resize page
and deletion of blank pages. During the scanning process, pages can be reordered, rotated, deleted
and inserted using the preview window. The barcode detector or a blank page can separate jobs for
batch scanning.
Custom profiles can include specific file types—such as PDF, searchable PDF, TIFF, JPEG, or other
formats—in addition to customizable file destinations.
