NetDocuments Client API Documentation
The NetDocuments Client API is implemented as a COM component. It can be
accessed from any programming language that supports COM method calls. A dual
interface is provided, so the API can be called using either early (compile
time) binding or late (run time) binding. This API is accessed from a client
workstation. This API should not be confused with the NetDocuments Server-based
SOAP API, which is accessed on the NetDocuments server via HTTP calls. The
NetDocuments Client API is installed automatically along with the neRemoteDoc
ActiveX control. This ActiveX control is installed on a workstation the first
time a user accesses a document or NetBinder in NetDocuments.
